This symbol has been part of my artwork for years. It’s a mashup of the classic anarchy symbol and a target, creating a mark that became the signature of one of my original characters, Goons.

When I first designed Goons, I wasn’t interested in drawing detailed faces, so this symbol became her identity. Since then, it’s appeared throughout my sketchbooks, paintings, and artwork as the defining feature of her character.

Each patch is hand-painted on reclaimed denim sourced from my own $100 jeans that I outgrew and carefully thrifted denim, giving old materials a new purpose. No two patches are exactly alike, making each one a small piece of original, wearable art.
